《Spotlight ─ 波蘭兒童插畫的狂歡舞台》

在這個創作結構中，「書」是展覽的核心。書籍不只是插畫的載體，更透過頁面順序建立節奏、張力與意義；插畫則在其中延伸、重組，甚至打破既有的閱讀方式，開啟更多觀看與詮釋的可能。

展覽於 「不只是圖書館」 展出，藉由空間與書籍之間天然的連結，引導觀眾將閱讀從文字延伸至觀看本身，重新感受書籍作為視覺物件與創作媒介的魅力。

本展共展出 14 位波蘭藝術家的 28 本圖畫書及 28 件原作插畫，邀請觀眾走入圖像、書籍與故事交織而成的創作場域，感受插畫如何持續生成新的意義，並體驗當代波蘭插畫豐富而充滿想像力的創作能量。

About the Exhibition

Spotlight on Polish Illustration presents a contemporary landscape of Polish illustration through recent publications and works in progress, approaching illustration as a creative practice centred on thinking through images. Rather than organising the exhibition by style, generation, or movement, it brings together 14 artists whose distinctive visual languages form a constellation connected through dialogue, exchange, and the coexistence of different ways of seeing.

At the heart of the exhibition is the book. More than a vessel for illustration, it shapes rhythm, tension, and meaning through the sequence of its pages. Illustration works within—and sometimes against—this structure, opening new possibilities for interpretation and visual storytelling.

Presented at Not Just Library, the exhibition draws upon the intrinsic relationship between books and space, inviting visitors to shift their attention from reading as content consumption to reading as an act of observation. Here, the book becomes a visual object that encourages looking, revisiting, and discovering new connections.

Featuring 28 picture books and 28 original illustrations by 14 Polish artists, the exhibition invites visitors into a world where images, books, and stories continuously generate new meanings, revealing the richness and creative vitality of contemporary Polish illustration.
